Erik Ainge > Jonathan Crompton Crompton is like Ainge in the 2005 LSU game, only it's every snap instead of just the first quarter.

Yeah but I'd much rather have Ainge right now. Even though I didn't like him too much, I'm pretty sure we would at least have a chance to make it to the SEC championship with this team. We have enough talent, we just shoot ourselves in the foot. How can the rest of the country not laugh at us?

Ainge wasn't anything special either.

Ainge = led one team single by himself and basically led another to Atlanta. Sure, he wasn't a superstar, but trying to say he wasn't anything special by comparison to Jonathan Crompton is sad on your part. If Ainge was the QB, we'd be 2-1, if not 3-0 right now.

You really believe that?

Let me be clear about something. I was an Ainge fan, but by no means is he near the top of my list in favorite QBs and he killed us in a couple of games throughout his career, mainly the SECCG last year.

Bottom line is that CJ Leak wouldn't look this bad. Neither would Joey Matthews. It's one thing to just not be a gifted athlete or QB, it's another to have the tools that Crompton does and still be so terrible.

Ainge was pretty bad in 2005 Actually, he was almost this bad, but not quite. This is terrible.

At the same time, I would rather of had a kid who could run and throw ready to take over than either Ainge or Crompton, at this point.

I will be glad when JC is gone too. For that fact Ainge too, because dumb @#$%#@$ keep bring it back up, as i we ran him out of town or something. Hey newsflash; they will all leave sooner or later. It's not like he could have stayed or anything

Erik Ainge > Crompton? Sure, I agree..........they both still suck though. I mean we haven't exactly been successful these last 5 years.
