Consider the upcoming Vanderbilt/Kentucky game: After the game is over, either Joker Phillips (who Kentucky fans are about ready to execute) or James Franklin (who is only in his second season) will have more SEC wins than Derek Dooley.

Let that sink in.

Now if you've somehow convinced yourself that both coaches inherited much better situations, here's another one: Hugh Freeze has more SEC wins in his last two games than Derek Dooley has since 2010.

Vanderbilt was coached by a chicken farmer the year before Franklin. Vandy was in worse shape then Tennessee when Dooley got here.

Anyone who argues that any of those three coaches inherited better situations than Dooley is just stupid.

I really don't see your point, none of those teams played the same schedule as UT. Now had they and they beat MSU, FLA, USC, UGA and UA......I would give your dribble a second thought.

Does posting these stupid comparison ever get old......it really does make you sound like an idiot.

If you're still on the fence, I'm strongly concerned with your mental health.

In comparable games, Vanderbilt also beat Ole Miss in 2010, and Vanderbilt beat Kentucky by 30 last year.

Hold up. He used a three year timeline against the entire SEC schedule and you made it about this year. Clearly he's the idiot.

This is why we have to get rid of Dooley. We have officially fell to the level of Vandy/Kentucky.

Hugh Freeze and James Franklin have never lost to Kentucky either!

Vandy is actually rated higher than the Vols in recruiting too right now!

Be careful. We still have to play Vandy and UK. They could still beat this Tennessee team. We finished next to last in the SEC last year. Dooley could see to it we get that bottom spot. He said if they start from the other end, "We're 1st". :eek:lol:

If anyone is still on the fence its only because they chose that particular lifestyle.

Your first point about Franklin and Joker is a good one (although I would add that Joker arguably has already had a better career than CDD given that one of his SEC wins was against USCe in 2010).

Maybe I'm not reading the rest of your post correctly, but I seem to remember UT beating Ole Miss, Vandy, and Kentucky in 2010/2011 season and Vandy in the 2011/2012 season. That's 4 SEC teams. How can Hugh Freeze win more SEC games in his last 2 than CDD since 2010? Am I missing something here? Math has never been my strong suit. :)

I took since 2010 to mean the 11/12 seasons but I could be wrong. I can see how that would be confusing. Would be better if post had said since the start of 2011 season.

I guess he could have also said "since the beginning of Year 1".... thanks for the clarification. :salute:
