I am hyped about this game. The unknown is what gets me. I see the game going either way. If we win, I wouldn't be surprised and if we lose I wouldn't be surprised. If I had to guess about the outcome of this game, I would say that it will be a close game just like Ga. Tech was last year, but we will end up winning.

I am also excited to see the NFL rosters to see how many of our guys made NFL rosters. Justin Hunter, Kendall Vickers, Dobbs, Sutton, Moseley, Jumper, Berry etc. etc.......

I hope we win. I love it when national media POSs are wrong.

Edit: not referring to Mule. I don’t mind local reporters being homers. Just not a fan of national media’s anti-UT slant.

What anti-UT slant? UT has given UT the anti-UT slant. Not the media.

The media was all over UT in '16 and they managed to crap the bed.

Fair point.

In my mind we’re still a good program and when I hear the media report how terrible we are I assume bias. Orange colored glasses I suppose.

Not that I’m expecting much this season.

What is the reason for lack of ticket sales on the Tennessee side? I know you sold your allotment through the school but after that your sales through ticket master and the belk site has been very low.. tons of seats left on your side left. Is it lack of enthusiasm for this year? Living in Johnson City I see how passionate your fan base is .. and you guys are known to travel well .. it surprised me all the remaining seats are on Tennessee's side.. considering we are on the sunny side I doubt any non WVU fans pick tickets on our side.. not trolling .. hoping for a good game and a good season for both teams.

It's game week if you wanted to make friends with the Vols you should have chosen last week. So don't worry about us it will be all Orange on Saturday. If you want to be friends check back in Sunday afternoon. GO VOLS!!!!!!

Historically bad season last year may have something to do with it, however my guess is that this is a non-story. In fact I wouldn’t be surprised if there are more Vol fans than WV fans at the game when all is said and done. Perhaps the truth is, in an attempt to sell more tickets at the last minute a story about poor sales to the UT fans was released to spur sales. Everything I’ve read is that we sold our allotment and the extra we requested. Thanks for the concern, but maybe you should save some energy to type a message of condolance to the poor WV fans on Saturday night that are going to feel like their season is a bust before the season really even got started...I’m not sure if you already know but WGWTFA.

The majority of those are resale tickets, they've been purchased and for whatever reason those folks aren't attending. There are some seats in the corners available but I can assure you there are just as many available on the WVU side.

Tennessee sold its allotted tickets and asked for 4000 more to meet demand.
