Let's take a (very) hypothetical look and say we win out. Then face LSU in the SECCG and win, getting a BCS bowl bid. Does that placate all the so-called "nega-vols" (*of which I am one I suppose..) and allow CPF to stay on indefinitely?

* I say I am a "nega-vol" because the team we saw play yesterday should have been playing from game 1.

That isn't to say that I don't give the staff a big atta-boy got making necessary improvements, but they all get paid a substantial amount of money to ensure that the team is ready to go.

i know this may be a little off topic, but i just left work to get some dip and heard on sportstalk that lsu is possibly in the situation to where they could lose the sec championship and still get into the nc game. sorry to go off topic.

Nebraska did that in 01-02.

the thing 95% of your "nega-vols" want is an SECC. it would shut me up and should shut just about everyone else up.

Nebraska didn't make the Big 12 Championship that year.

Oklahoma did that in 2003-2004.

I know. I just meant they didn't win it (weren't in it) in 01-02. My sister was attending CU that year (as a freshman), and I lived in Denver. Believe me. I know what went down.

Yes. The SEC championship is the ultimate prize in my book. If we were to win it, I would shut up and admit that I was wrong.
