When does it open? Is it ahead or behind schedule at this point? Are recruits able to tour it now or are they watching youtube clips like me? Havent seen it mentioned here in a while, thanks for any info.

I would think recruiting would pick up when they get to actually step foot in that place. It has to help.

Heard Hart on the radio early this week talking about this. Dooley didn't want the distraction of moving into the new facility during the middle of camp. That was the main reason for moving off campus for the week.

I doubt it helps much. It will be nice eye candy, but coaches have to recruit better talent. Besides kids these days don't care about a nice weight room. They care about winning.

This, and more. It's the entire facility, not just the weight room. The player's lounge, the meeting room, the dining hall, the locker room, etc. will all be things the players get excited about. The players and the parents will love the rehab facilities. Bottom line: it helps in recruiting.

Facilities are a huge part of recruiting, lets not kid ourselves.. This is a huge deal. And you better believe the AD expects it to pay dividends

Um, is this sarcasm? I really hope so.

If not, I completely disagree with you to the fullest extent. This will play a HUGE role in recruiting and kids do care about a bad ass weight room and training facility. I'm willing to bet it will play a big role in a few recruits we sign.

You must be an older fella.
