Besides Hancock sounded like the WR group isn't playing well. Souns lik UT will use the TE's a lot next season.

Parrish, Wardlow, and Gaines in the secondary. Fellows has been really quiet.

I was there, and the WRs and QBs all ran stadium steps after practice because of the interceptions.

All in all, an ok scrimmage, and they will impress the "public" next week.

I read that the coaches took a timeout during the practice just to make the offense do up-downs. Right now, our offense is putrid. No ifs, ands, or buts about it.

That seems to be what Cut said. BTW, if anyone wants to merge my thread on Cut's post scrimmage comments into this one, please do so.

is it really that surprising that the offense isn't doing well right now? When you lose all of your top wideouts and add to the fact that you dont have your starting quarterback in there to throw to the inexperienced receivers we have this year, it shouldn't be that shocking that the offense won't be rolling on all cylinders at the moment.

shouldn't your backup qb be used to throwing to your backup WRers? These guys should have all been on the second team last season no?
