How does this sound as based on odds to win NC.
Payout

UT 100-1. 100$ bet. 10k
fl st 12-1 50$ 600$
USCw 9-1 100$ 900$
LSU 4-1 200$ 800$
Bama 5-1 200$ 1k
Oregon 12-1 100$ 1,200k
Oklahoma 12-1 200$ 2,400k
TCU 50-1 50$ 2500k
Any thoughts? Got 1k to play with and tryin to find best odds.

post your suggestions if you think there are better teams/odds. If one of the lower odd teams win worst I could do is lose 400$.

USC is a good bet, I'm surprised the odds are that low actually. Oregon's always worth a shot. I know TCU's (50/1) moving to a better conference, but they bring back almost everyone from an 11-win team and they won't be politicked out of a title game anymore.

Very, very good point. I think ill change my monies around and fit them in. Do you know how many starters coming back? Now in a BCS conf. This could be a sneaky good bet. .:hi:

14 starters are returning, but it's mostly about who they are. Pachall will be back and everyone saw him rip Boise's secondary apart. The majority of TCU's quality defensive players are returning, save for Tank Carder. They'll probably open somewhere between 13-18 in the initial poll. Also, they get the Big 12's top three teams at home. Subtle schedule advantage.

Last year, with my hedges, I lost 100$.but I had a shot to win 3-5k if things would have worked out. Not bad considering I could have spent much more playing the lotto with much smaller odds. Ok st would have really hit big for me.

I'd take Florida st personally, but I'd hedge with LSU. stay the hell away from bama because repeat titles don't happen ever.

Does anyone think a big 10 school would win it? Also UGA is 14-1. I think with their talent they could win it. This would kill my entire wager. Is it a mistake not adding them?

Thanks for the input as many of you know your football.
