Here is one for ya VOL NATION...

Tennessee has (1) Head coach and (2) assistant Head coaches.

Chavis and Cutcliff are technically both Assistant Head Coaches (not just defensive coordinator and Offensive coordinator). How can basically 3 head coaches not get it together and collectively mold a team young or not into what the team should be?

I would agree --- 1980's style.

For years Tennessee (read - Chavis) has not be able to handle mobile QB's. Before 2000 most teams with mobile QB were small schools running option attacks -- like the Army/Navy/AF. For these schools the QB was the best player on the team.

Now big schools are going with the spead, or 4-5 wideouts and they have lots of good playmakers. We still can't play these type of schools with a Chavis' defense.

Would would Air Force have done to us last year with Harvin?
