should vanish until next season after the first loss. They are just embarrassing themselves. It's an easy win out. The record will be 8-4 with a nice bowl. Possible 9 win season. Next year 10+ win season. It's nice to have Tennessee back.:pepper:

Don't you know Butch "Lyle" Jones sucks!!! He should not only be fired from UT but he should be barred from ever coaching again.

Very, very few posters have "wanted Butch's head". 95%+ of his critics have only wanted him to manage the games better....get better at doing that so the wins vs our top rivals will come, because he does everything else so well Sunday to Friday.

We beat Kentucky and turning out to be a bad Georgia team

Let's pump the breaks on the "we are back"

We aren't back until we beat Bama, Florida, and Georgia on a consistent basis

Beating Kentucky shouldn't be a precursor to greater things

People can see where the program is headed. It gets them excited and it should.

I don't know that the team is "bad" persay. Mentally weak? Yeah. I'd say Georgia has laid down.

I can understand this, but Kentucky isn't the measuring stick for greater success in the long run

Say this after we beat Bama and now Florida


No matter how much people love Butch, he won't stay here if he can't beat our two biggest rivals

When he beats them, we're back

So we can degrade him every week but we can't give credit until after multiple years?
Well, I guess that is fairly convenient. :)

That's not what I said and the OP either. It's about watching the team getting better and they are getting better and that's without question. Also looking to the future things look really bright. This isn't about 1 game.

They are still some fans that want Butch to fail so they can say "I told you so." They are more worried about being right, instead of supporting our coach and players!!!!

His success should be based on his record against those 3 teams

It shouldn't be measured against a team we are 30-1 against in the last 31

I'm very happy we won. It's just not "We are back" worthy


The better phrase would be " We are getting there"
