I was hoping one of you might be able to steer me to something I have not been able to find as yet. I am putting together a video project, and there is some material on youtube I would like to download and extract audio from. The software I am using to rip material from youtube requires saving it in .flv format, which is not supported in Windows Movie Maker (I am using WMM for my project). I am looking for a hopefully free converter that will go from .flv to either .mpeg or .avi without too much fuss or muss. Or if you know of other youtube-ripping software that saves in one of these formats, that would be great too. Thanks!
