Tennessee, behind 226 yards and two touchdowns by Travis Stephens, won 34-32, breaking a 30-year winless streak in Gainesville

Tennessee had only played in Gainesville a handful of times in that 30 year period. What sloppy journalism on his part?

In other breaking news it was reported today that with all the tension between the 2 teams and fans, that there will be 300 additional law enforcement officers at the game to control any outbreaks of violence.

This Dirocco appears to be Gainesville's answer to John Adams, except Dirocco is apparently a Gators fan.
Coach Kiffin did make some off the cuff comments, but the end result has been to restore some of the relevance of the Gator/Vols rivalry. I recall last season reading some posts by Gator trolls on the GoVols site that were almost sympathetic to UT's plight. They even stated something to the effect of wishing the rivalry would return.
Return it will, but I don't think the Gators will like where it's heading. I drank the Koolaid and have had the vision. The VOLS will rise again! The seeds are sown and the crop rising will prepare the delicious feast. Just as any crop must be tended and nurtured, so will the VOLS football team. We reap what we sow, and I am a believer that we have sown well.
I grew up in East Tennessee and can remember cutting firewood, loading the pick-up and listening to the Vols play on my older brother's transistor radio. My blood runs bright orange. I love this Tennessee team and will until the day I die. My children are grown and they love the Vols as well. Enjoy the ride and pass it on. It's great to be a Tennessee Volunteer!!!

After you read the article ask yourself what is like to read that every day while you are living 90 minutes from the Swamp. Don't even turn on sport's radio.

That is my life....

The good news is, they sell Jack Daniels even in Florida. :dance2:
