Ok. Here’s another example.
Alabama 52-texas am 24
Florida 38-am 41
Florida’s offense is good, but Alabama’s offense is great.
This means that Bama's defense is better than Florida's defense. They got the ball back for their offense to score.

🎯

To beat Bama (assuming they win the East), Florida will have to improve on defense or try to beat Bama in a wild shootout.

Average points per game:
Florida - 45
Bama - 49
Average yards per game:
Bama - 564
Florida - 522

Both have a Heisman-contending QB, although Trask is way ahead in most every stat, with 12 more passing TD’s. Both have dynamic WR’s, Smith for Bama, Toney for Florida. But only one team has Kyle Pitts.

My point is, both offenses are great, they can BOTH be great.
Maybe, I would bet the house that bama would beat Florida like a drum head to head.

You’ll know in a few weeks barring some massive upsets. Hard for me to believe anyone would character Florida’s offense as just “good” but not great. It’s arguably the best offense in the history of the school so far, and UF has had some legendary offenses, with legendary players, under Spurrier and Meyer. The offense has two players that are putting up the best stats, not in UF’s history, but in SEC history in Kyle Trask and Kyle Pitts. That’s not to say Bama’s offense isn’t also great.

it all comes down to QB. if we get the once a year really good JG or go with HB, we proabbly win. at very least will go down to the wire.

We should play this game at a local middle school and just keep the cameras out. The less eyeballs on this humiliation, the better.[/QUOTE

I don’t know about that. I think they’d give Father Ryan a good game but probably ought to drop Alcoa and Maryville from the schedule.

I think you'll see "heavy" formations for much of the game and challenge the Tennessee LB's to cover RB's and Pitts

I was being smarmy as usual lol

If Trask doesn't target Pitts 10 to 12 times with this horrible defense, it would be malpractice.

Pruitt knows he needs this game, recruiting is suffering, the fanbase is turning against him fast and

Pruitt knowing any of this is not relevant. The fact that our players, schemes, and preparation are sub-par is what matters.
