Florida, Tennessee fans on Reddit pessimistic about College GameDay in Knoxville

In fairness, the Vols have been one of the most underwhelming 3-0 teams in college football. Tennessee struggled against Appalachian State in Week 1 and Ohio in Week 3, both games in which they were heavily favored. The Vols are also dealing with injuries to several key starters including Cam Sutton, Jalen Reeves-Maybin and Darrin Kirkland Jr.


Like Tennessee, the Gators also have injury concerns after starting quarterback Luke Del Rio was forced to leave Saturday’s game following a low hit to his leg on a roughing the passer call. Florida fans weren’t any more optimistic than their SEC East rivals about their team being featured on Gameday.

This has been a weird week. Both fan bases are really nervous about this game and that shocks me on the Florida side. They could show up with only 24 players and would probably keep it close. They have the mental edge and ALL the pressure is on the Orange and White side.
