I think it shows their true concern about their overall production as a team and their ability to win this game. Does Florida have a great defense, absolutely. But winning with defense alone is extremely hard. That's what Tennessee has been doing this entire year. I would also think that everyone would agree that the potential for the better offense is with Tennessee. I just think that the Florida's players and coaching staff are trying to use any advantage they can, even if its a psychological one, hence the abundance of trash talking. I like the fact that Tennessee's players have been quiet. I hope they let their play on the field speak for itself and come out of this game with a win! GBO!

Actually it was a very poor angle by Foreman. That said, that play didn't cost UT the game. Jones attempting to go 4 corners is what cost UT the game. He tried to "manage" the game rather than letting the players play.

:thumbsup: not to go too far back in the way back machine, but i remember telling my dad during those last two offensive possessions, "this is indefensible, i can't defend this"

Nope. They just haven't been very good. If they ever get good they may win a few more than they have. Kentucky basketball hasn't owned anyone. They HAVE had great coaches & players relative to their competition.

Since 2009 Florida hasn't been anything to write home about. They have exactly 1 Eastern division title in that time if I'm correct, maybe two. Big whup. That has happened to coincide with Tennessee having it's worst stretch ever. We messed up every game since Tebow left. Every single one. Going back farther than that is irrelevant. Florida is NOT our problem, WE are. When (if ever) we do what we should to win games then we will win against Florida & everybody else. We've found every conceivable way to lose a game to Florida. Once we figure out how to win one I predict the floodgates will open for us. But until we do I ain't never backing down or bowing down to any team. Tennessee's football history speaks for itself. Multiple SEC & National titles. We will win some more too. And until then my head is up high and I will be owned by no one. Every one else is free to feel however they like.

That's probably his strongest game...force his to cover backs or to beat the backs to the edge and he is weaker, but running right at him works best for us IMO...

That's why fans are so aggravated this season. With pretty much the same personnel on offense as last year, this team hasn't done anything yet. I believe at some point this season everything will click and this offense will move from potential to results, and I hope like hell its Saturday!

If UT's DL isn't disruptive then it will be tough. If they are disruptive then UF will struggle. It mostly comes down to what UT's front 4 can do against the UF OL.

For those that don't remember, Fulmer had Spurrier's number And basically ran him out of Florida. The talent at Tennessee had far surpassed the talent at Florida when Steve bailed. Writing was on the wall and Steve didn't like to recruit.
Also it's funny how fans believe in streaks but players don't. What Happened in prior years has no bearing on the next game. Pissed off football players never get tight before a game. I for one believe were pissed off, have superior talent and will win.
