Having confidence and voicing said confidence is one thing, constantly spouting off and running your mouth every chance you get is another. I can't remember ever hearing so much crap from the Florida players though.
while that's true, the problem is that it's always about potential. i'm getting sick of that word.Having confidence and voicing said confidence is one thing, constantly spouting off and running your mouth every chance you get is another. I can't remember ever hearing so much crap from the Florida players though. Their fans, sure, but the from people directly connected to the program. I think it shows their true concern about their overall production as a team and their ability to win this game. Does Florida have a great defense, absolutely. But winning with defense alone is extremely hard. That's what Tennessee has been doing this entire year. I would also think that everyone would agree that the potential for the better offense is with Tennessee. I just think that the Florida's players and coaching staff are trying to use any advantage they can, even if its a psychological one, hence the abundance of trash talking. I like the fact that Tennessee's players have been quiet. I hope they let their play on the field speak for itself and come out of this game with a win! GBO!
The callaway TD was pure luck---one florida receiver somehow took out three UT DBs ready to make the tackle.
Actually it was a very poor angle by Foreman. That said, that play didn't cost UT the game. Jones attempting to go 4 corners is what cost UT the game. He tried to "manage" the game rather than letting the players play.
So you don't think UT "owns" Vandy and Kentucky in football?

That's why fans are so aggravated this season. With pretty much the same personnel on offense as last year, this team hasn't done anything yet. I believe at some point this season everything will click and this offense will move from potential to results, and I hope like hell its Saturday!
