Let's see here...

Your Gator-fan friend thinks that UF, which returns a Heisman winning QB and plenty of speed and talent at skill positions, a veteran O-line, and 10 of 11 players on what was a pretty damn good defense last year, and which lost one game all of last year, by one point, is going to win another national championship.

Whereas you are optimistic that CLK, who hasn't coached a game for UT, and who takes over a team with an anemic offense and a serious talent deficiency at 21 of 22 positions, no demonstrated special teams ability, and which lost to Florida by huge margins the last two years, is going to go into Gainesville and knock off the Gators from their high perch.

And your friend is delusional?

Talent deficient at 21 of 22 position huh?

Lets have a look shall we?

RB --
Montario Hardesty
Lennon Creer

DL --
Chris Walker
Ben Martin
Dan Williams

Secondary -- Excluding Berry
Marsalous Johnson
Demetrice Morley
Dennis Rogan
Brent Vinson

TE/WR
Luke Stocker
Brandon Warren
Gerald Jones
Ahmad Paige

LB
Chris Donald
Rico McCoy

Now don't misunderstand me, I'm not saying all of these guys are All-SEC talent, but they are all more than capable of stepping up and being huge contributors to this team. With proper coaching, I would even venture to say that the people I just listed COULD be All-SEC. I know our talent level is down from years past but to say we are talent deficient at 21 of 22 positions is ludicrous.

The said thing, this lady is congresswoman of a district in my city. She's also the one that used city money and time to sandbag her house during the tropical storm last season. If I'm not mistaken, there has been talk of her impeachment. I will however say that other than her linguistic skills and questionable actions during the storm, that she has done a pretty good job representing her district. As far as this crap.... I'll have to rethink my views of her.

And I noticed on tigerturds that someone said something about the level of education in her district. Well, it's no secret here in Florida that her district and the other districts in Duval County (Jacksonville) have the state's worst education system and highest illiteracy rates. That's an issue that dates back to way before Corrine Brown was in office, and it's not something that's going to be fixed any time soon. It's pretty much a rule of thumb here that if you want your child to have any chance of doing anything besides flipping burgers at McDonald's, you put them in private school, of which (ironically) we have some of the best in the country.

Notice that we haven't heard anything about the sandbag thing. They had the news story but, nothing since then.

She is a piece of crap and needs to go.
