It's just not the same when your best player goes out is it??? And im not talking above Brantley, the game was over by then. I'm talking about when Demps went out.

I got you guys going 3-5 the rest of the way... and thats only because you got Vandy in FL.

Good luck.

Sorry, but the game was not over when Brantley left. 24-10, and Bama punted 3 straight times in the 3rd quarter.

Bama still wins probably, but it wouldn't be a 28 point margin.

yeah it was over man. Your scoring to that point had been a total fluke so it wasn't going to change.

Will never understand taking pleasure in players getting hurt.

Supremely classless, imo.

My sentiments have nothing to do with a player being injured. Probably wasn't aimed at me, though, just putting that out there. Just happy to see Florida's epic fail.

Nobody is taking pleasure from Florida's injuries. Everyone is just glad to see them go down. It helps UT and gives UT fans hope that we can take the East, no matter how small that chance may be.

Probably knows that. Damage control from an ass whipping.

Well, they've got another ass whipping coming from LSU. UT has to battle with both of those teams coming up, but im enjoying what's happening now. Love seeing the Gators in turmoil and suffer at the swamp. Any Vol fan that says they don't is full of it.

Glad to know we helped UT nation out in some small way. It is like my own little "Live United" moment.

While we are at it Ball State also lost by 60. You should go thank Sooner fans for keeping basement below your feet.

Roll Tide.

before Brantley went down UF gave up 24 unanswered points, negative rushing yards for Rainey/Demps combo, got dominated on the LOS, got ran over by Bama RBs.

Sorry, the game was over and using Brantley as an excuse is laughable. other than that one bomb in the first play, UF made one field goal in 60 minutes and that was it.

Bama adjusted after two series of Florida on offense and the game was over. They weren't going to sniff the endzone again. Bama is just on a different level period.

If UF fans are using his injury as the excuse they lost, that is an absolute joke. I didnt realize Brantley played defense as well.

The game was over when we didn't go up 14-3 in the first quarter, and the outcome would not have changed if Brantley didn't get hurt.

As for UT taking joy in our loss, the silver lining is Driskel will have plenty of experience by the time we come to Knoxville next year.

But by all means, continue to take delight in celebrating other teams accomplishing what UT can't.

We needed Bama to win. I didn't take delight in it but it helps us.

As far as Driskel goes. Who gives a crap about how many reps he gets , next year is next year.

No silver lining in that loss (starting to sound like some of the moral victory people on VN). Just got steamrolled on national television. Driskel looked like dookie. Reps are just as likely to get him killed as they are to help him.

It helps UT, but Bama beating UT in a couple weeks cancels that out. At the end of the day UGA was the big winner last night.

As for Driskel, I care how many reps he gets because right now he's our starting QB, and he's greener than grass.
