Did anyone at the game notice in about section R row 10, some re-re guy with a gator jersey on? He was talking smack and doing the gator chomp most of the time. I just thought it was unusual. He was obnoxious. I hope we kill the gators next week because of people like that...sorry.

The thread maker never said that Vols act like angels....just that it was annoying that a Gator fan was at a UT game cheering for us to lose

Stereotypical gator. I'm sure there's a handful that aren't smug, pompous, and/or obnoxious... but I'm still waiting to come across them.

And don't worry, I'm sure that guy has gotten his more than once in his life. If not, its coming.

yeah, pretty gay if you ask me. I have went to Bama games with friends and showed respect because they are passionate for their team just like i am for UT. but I would never just wake up with intentions of being an ass when my team wasn't even playing. sounds like an expensive waste of time if you ask me.

No different than our "fans" booing. If you pay for the ticket do what you want. It's not like no one knew gators and bammers are seriously lacking in class.

My main point was, did anyone else see him? I didn't know if that were normal or not, because I've never been to a home game prior to another major home game the following week.
I just didn't understand why he'd pay for the ticket, sit in the direct 90+ degree sun and do the gator chomp almost all day....that was it. He can do whatever he wants...and I think you're right, we all kinda knew they weren't the classiest fans...not that ours are either. But it's a little different.

If I were to go to a Tennessee game sans Florida playing, yeah I'd still wear my Gator jersey... but I would be rooting for you guys and for the SEC.
