Florida Facebook recruiting violations

Since Secondary Violations dont mean anything at all, Florida might as well continue doing what they are doing if it is benefitting them in recruiting.

Agreed unless the NCAA starts enforcing some penalty for secondaries I don't see why UF should stop. I wouldn't care if CDD and his staff had a few of these so I'm not going to hold UF to a different standard. People who try to brag about things like this are grasping at straws.

They will report the secondary violations and try to watch repeating it in the future. The NCAA doesn't seem to care so much about petty violations like these unless you start to show a pattern that could be taken as thumbing your nose at them. When that happens they start to look around and if there are any skeletons in your closet they are much more likely to come to light at that point.

Bottom line is these are really no big deal, unless you start to show some kind of pattern. It probably won't be done again for some time.

I remember something being thrown around about either Ohio State or Oklahoma having over 100 for something like a 2 year period, but that's all I've got on the issue...

Yes - it's lost somewhere on VN - it posted posted like 100 times when all of our secondary violations while LK was here were popping up.

Ohio State had something like 10x as much as the 2nd place school over a span of a few years and Florida was up there as well with some other schools like Georgia and Oklahoma.

All the more reason for creepy stalkers from all schools to stay away from recruits FaceBook boards. You will be seen if you post on their walls.

Very true. In fact, i suspect Kentucky has been a victim of that with basketball recruits. Their fans COULD just be that stupid, but sometimes it seemed like too much of a parody of an idiotic Kentucky fan to actually be one.
