Fla St band playing Rocky Top?

I was watching Gameday and the first time they were talking about the UT-UF game today I swear the FSU band started playing Rocky Top. Then at the end of the show when they were picking the games I swear the crowd started singing Rocky Top a little. Am I hearing things or is the FSU croud pulling for us as well?

well the one year when Florida St was beating Florida they played Rocky top at the game to get under Spurriers skin. I am sure it was before we played the NOLES in the NC. As to what year exactly my memory fails me.

1990-UT had crushed UF 45-3 in Knoxville...FSU and UF in Talla, FSU scored and played Rocky Top, that is the first time I am aware that it happened. I was there....just beautiful

FSU fans (me being an alumni) will do anything to gig the Gators. FSU fans have always been nice to me when wearing UT colors...well, except that one year!! :birgits_giggle:

I have been at FSU games many times when a UT lead over UF has been annocued in the stadium....They are almost as happy as we are....

My dad is a huge FSU fan, and I have yet to meet a FSU fan I didn't like. I don't have any Fav teams besides the Vols, but if I did.....

I am a Vol first....FSU second.

I may be biased, IMO FSU fans for the most part like the Vols for many reasons.

It all depends on how the lose helps FSU....It was nuts back in the 80'-90's when all 3 played each other and it meant something...
