Armwood HS has a great program and is a state powerhouse every year in Florida.

Freshman at Bama frustrated with lack of PT. How's he going to handle it when he isn't a day 1 starter at UT?
Kid is a special athlete and has crazy potential. Who knows what is keeping him off the field. He comes down with every 50-50 ball that Payton hasn't come down with this year. He’d probably start day 1 unless it’s a bad attitude thing. If he’s in the portal we’d be insane not to go after him. He’s feast in this offense.

Not in the portal.

But it sounds like Hall has some maturing to do.

“It still comes down to players creating value for themselves by what they do,” he said. “I’ve said this before that there’s players that have talent, but they have to learn how to use it. And they have to use it in an effective way, in a way they practice.

“It’s up to the player to impress the coaches that they can be trusted to go into game and do what they’re supposed to do. So when players get frustrated, you know, they sometimes don’t respond the way they should in terms of their preparation and focusing on what they need to do to become a good player, because they’re so concerned about how much they’re playing.”

Saban was asked Sept. 22 about Hall, saying he wanted to see the freshman become part of the offense but dependability on and off the field is important.

This situation is a snapshot of why Alabama has been what they have been for so long. There is so much that goes into being a great college player, more than just physical talent. Alabama has busts too. They are able to do what needs to be done and bench very talented players that are not doing what they need to do. They have so many talented players that they have the luxury of doing that. UT (and most other schools also) have had some very talented players that were similar to this kid. The problem is we are stuck trying to just play them anyways because they are so talented or if we bench them we don't replace them with anyone even close to their talent level. That's frustrating.

Sounds like he is in the portal or planning to be soon. Supposedly no longer listed on the team.

Mark Richt has lost control of Bama's roster.
