Other schools are pushing to get him on campus soon, but he decided to travel to Knoxville this weekend to see for himself what the Vols have to offer.

"I just felt I could be a good time to visit and check it out," he told GoVols247 on Thursday morning.

Jackson said he and Tennessee coach Josh Heupel's staff, led by defensive line coach Rodney Garner and Aaron Amaama, have "been communicating for a while."
