That is going to be the biggest waste of money ever. What better way to foment a jealous and disruptive locker room. It will land you a few big names every year but it takes 22 to win.
It’s not that much money if they’re leasing these out. Does kind of paint a big target on kids who aren’t responsible with money at this point in their lives. A lot of these kids will make a lot of relationship with people strictly bc of the temporary wealth they have, I stress temporary as well in most of the cases

Am I the only one who thinks it's probably not a good idea to give teenagers super cars? Or are these just for looks and don't have the horsepower I think they do?
As long as you can blame the consequences on a “rogue” recruiting staffer it’s probably ok. - UGA, probably

Horrible idea on so many levels. Besides the lack of necessary maturity required to drive one of those safely, giving a SA a lease on a car isn’t exactly setting them up for financial success or teaching them fiscal responsibility. It’s teaching overindulgence and wrecklessness. IMO not a good look for a coaching staff that is supposed to have the best interest of the players at heart.

Yes, I know the kids love it, but there is supposed to be some adults in the room to teach them how to make better life decisions, not poor ones. I know I would rather have the money in the bank that they are spending on those leases.

*Edit* not to mention, as a parent, that would definitely raise an eyebrow and cause me to not trust that coaching staff.

I think a cheap Lamborghini is still in the 500-600 HP range
