“I’ll say they’re in the final three now,” said Balfour, who’s ranked by 247Sports as the No. 55 cornerback in the 2021 class.

“(Ansley likes) my ball skills and (thinks) I’m a great athlete,” Balfour said. “They want me at corner, and they could really use me and put me in a position where I can go to the NFL because of all of the coaching staff surrounding him.

“They were like, they’re looking for me to play and stuff like that, and they said I have the ability to play there.”

“I’m signing next week — (announcing) on signing day,” Balfour said. “I do have the option (of enrolling early). I don’t think I am, though.”
