Bama looks unstoppable. LSU should have grabbed an xfer QB in the off season and are paying for it now. UGA and Chubb look better than we thought plus Eason can play as we saw. UF is average but the season concerns me. We saw a limited playbook against App State which I can't understand for the life of me why the players came out unenthused . The read option was limited, defense very vanilla, and if we sandbagged it almost cost us. Not sure where we stand yet but have tickets in hand for Bristol, parking pass, and hotel lined up, just don't know what I'm walking into.

P.S. If we stump our toe I say UT should throw the keys and the bank at Herman. My faith is still in Butch but mediocrity has to stop. GBO!!!! Herman can coach and as a UT fan you have to hope the Big 12 doesn't take Houston. We have the players just need a coach. Butch please prove me wrong!

Mediocre line and average passing qb that's mobile and we'll win a lot this yr. After watching JG film if he regresses it's definitely a coaching problem, the kid is the real deal and he's riding the pine in hopes that we can keep him 1 extra yr!

If Butch stays the course and we go 8-4 I would be fine with the Appy St Couch at this point he can coach and scheme thats for sure. Keep Butch to Recruit lol

If Butch would start Dormandy we may haveashot at the Playoffs for sure, If Dobbs continues to start we better hope that CBJ was holding him back, cause if thats all Dobbs has got this year we may be in trouble.

Unless bama has a crazy 5 turnover game or something I don't see them being beat. Everybody else have glaring weaknesses.

They will have one against us and we will pull upset. No worries

It was an early survival Saturday. If you're 1-0 right now, it don't matter if you won ugly or not, it's better than being 0-1.

After week one, with Ole Miss still to play FSU, not sure anyone is strong enough to unseat bama. A fast paced O with a dual threat QB? What a beast! I have always hated bama but hate them more now. BTW, Lane trolled USC with a shot of the scoreboard? What a **ck! Dream job huh? F Kiffin.

I'd give my left nugget to see the Vol offense look as dynamic as that Houston offense.

By dynamic you mean a team that passes rather than runs? They were not that impressive with the run - 40 carries for 89 yards. OU and Houston were comparable with the passing (321 to 323), though Houston needed more attempts to get basically the same yardage.

Houston was balanced last year offensively but in this first game was not probably due to who they were playing.

Yes as Houston gets into the meat of their schedule and starts playing teams in their conference, their numbers will go higher - but some of that is due to the level of competition.

Herman is set in Houston, great pay, easier path to winning seasons and the NC game. He has turned down other offers. Don't see him going someplace else where the chance of success like he has at Houston would be much more difficult to come by.

As wide open as the Bama receivers were against USC, I could have made those throws. They face Western KY next week, so their freshman QB will have another big week. However, in week three they face Ole Miss. His overconfidence at this point will cause him to throw into windows that simply aren't there. Saban will not hesitate to pull him after three turnovers. Then the QB question marks begin all over.
