Depends on what game you go to. Of course the bigger the game, the higher the cost.

4 kids and 2 adults, I would recommend Kentucky or Vandy...Memphis would probably be a good one this year.

If you go to one of the "bad" home games, you can probably get tickets for less than $10 each...possibly free or $5.

Like the guy above me said more for better games less for smaller games so with that said it will probably be around 300 to 500 for a fam of 6 for a bigger game. And anywhere from 100 to 300 dollars for a smaller game counting on how much you can get them for.

I'd say with 6 people sitting together, it would cost at least $100 no matter what game.

If you're trying to find 6 tickets together for UGA or UCLA then you're probably talking $500.

I don't know who or where you guys are buying tickets from, but can I get the number? I would say $500 min and up to $1500.

Well if you buy the tickets for face vaule 50 dollars a ticket is going to be the most so 50 times 6 is 300 dollars. But if you where to go to a scalper you would probably spend alot more. You can call the ticket office espeically for the smaller games and they will hook you up with some tickets for face value.

I have seen tickets go for as little as $5 vs KY and Vandy.

If you buy online or from the tickets office, it is going to cost a little bit.

If you are willing to try and get them from a scalper on the street, it can be cheaper. That depends on the game of course.

With 6 people, you will probably want to plan it and have tickets before the game. I would plan to spend a minimum of face price that way.

One good way to get tickets would be Ebay.

I know I am all over the place on this post. There is so many variables that go into getting tickets. It all depends on what you are willing to pay and what game it is.

If you want 6 tickets together you'll probably find a deal if you look early enough. People with that many grouped tickets will try to offload them early if they know they aren't going. Should work out well for you so long as it isn't one of the huge home games this year (i.e. UCLA, Auburn, UGA).

This forum is a good place to ask too, bound to be someone here who has access or knows someone else who does.

I don't know how old your kids are, but the Spring game is a great chance for a trial run. Tickets are cheap and crowds are smaller. Kind of like an appetizer before the feast.:)

If you could go to only One home football game this fall.... what would be the best game to see if you could go to any home game? UCLA, Auburn, Georgia ???

Thanks in advance for your suggestions.

Georgia hands down. They lost alot but it is still one of the biggest games on UT's schedule every year. It should be fun this year especially with the Marlon Brown siuation...

We will be coming back for my Daughter's official visit this fall... She will be playing softball for the Lady Vols and is class of 2010.

Last fall, we went to the Florida game for her unofficial visit.. we loved everything about UT.. the school, community support, the facilities, the commitment to the student athlete, commitment to winning and the coaches!!! The game itself was a little rough but it was an awesome experience for my family!

Would have loved to have seen Florida or Alabama this year but would be happy to see any of the SEC Powerhouse schools. Also thought about UCLA but we can watch them, here. There is the softball connection with UCLA but the football team isn't the powerhouse team that their women's softball team can claim.

Was planning on the Georgia game but thought we would get the boards opinions on this one!

Thanks!

We got our tickets from the coaching staff. My wife and I paid for our tickets last year and will have to pay for hers and mine this year but my DD will get her ticket free this year when she goes on her official visit.. Really good seats by the way... right behind the end zone where the "T" is formed and the players enter the field.

Got to go onto the field before the game and at half time, that was pretty cool. Also got to go to the dining facilities for the recruits and their families underneath the stadium..... looking forward to this year's visit!

Thanks for the suggestions... we were thinking Georgia but wanted input!

I'll add that the weather is usually pleasant for the UGA game. The early September games, not so much.

This year with the new coaching staff and all I think there is going to be a lot of excitement the first game, regardless of it being Western Ky. I know that I don't want to miss it! I just hope it's a night game.
