Yep. All it takes is a split second of dumbassery. Next thing you know, you have a speech impediment when doing sign language.
I once fied a guy who dropped a pencil and bent over to pick it up and almost put his face in a running saw. If I hadn’t grabbed him he probably would have.

Even being carful it will get you.

All kidding aside, I had a trim man on my commercial site run his middle finger down to the second knuckle with a table saw. He came over and said, “Amigo! Amigo! I need a help” so I grabbed the first aid kit. He grabbed me by the shoulder and said “no man....”, as he shows me his finger ripped into two. He had six fingers on his right hand. It was bad.

He honestly never said a word else about it even when we arrived at the hospital. He started to rock back and forth a bit but he held it together well.

He came back to work in three weeks

It's hard to tell from the X-ray, but my pinky looked like 6 fingers. Lol. It was going in all kind of directions. IMG_2533.JPG
