I just saw where Shaeffer will be the first true freshman in the SEC to open the season at QB since 1945!

I was right on cedrics first carry though,I said he would get 2 ,he only got 1. :p

Technically, you could argue that you made the right call since the first play was wiped out because UNLV was offsides. We took the five yards for 1st and 5 and ran Cedric up the middle.

What's the latest status on Cedric?

Last I heard - it wasn't as bad as it looked - it was his ankle and not his knee. Thankfully, we really didn't need him and we've got an off week to get him healed.

I wish he'd gotten 1 more carry - he only needed 3 more yards to get to 100.

I was impressed with him tonight, but Larkins and Riggs gave some strong runs in there tonight as well.

I think it was a combination of Trooper Taylor's new attitude and the O-line finally living up to the hype.

About the only thing I didn't like about the game was having to listen to the announcers constantly tell me that Erik Ainge was Danny Ainge's nephew. I understand them talking about it, but they must have repeated it at least 6 or 7 times. :bash:
