First half performances thus far: this year vs last year

The difference is night and day. Last year nobody could beat us in the first half and we tended to collapse and not make adjustments ultimately leading to a few losses. We were also disciplined with few turnovers and penalties. This year we start off flat instead of trying to set the tone. We are sloppy with the ball and have had a lot of boneheaded penalties. Why?

Aside from the first 2 drives today, we look awful in the first half.

We need a leader to grab this team by the facemask and get them ready to play 60 minutes. I havent seen one.

I hope our coaching staff just lays into these guys this week. They need a wake up call. I'm ready to see a fired up, disciplined team with a chip on their shoulder take the field next Saturday!
