Per CNN:

A federal grand jury in Washington, DC, on Friday approved the first charges in the investigation led by special counsel Robert Mueller, according to sources briefed on the matter.

The charges are still sealed under orders from a federal judge. Plans were prepared Friday for anyone charged to be taken into custody as soon as Monday, the sources said. It is unclear what the charges are.

A spokesman for the special counsel's office declined to comment.

I'm just now finding out about this, so I haven't heard any of the commentary or speculation from the media yet, but unfortunately, if I had to put money on who it is, I'm betting Paul Manafort. No way they actually perp walk anyone in Clinton's circle.

My money is on Manafort. Then he flips on Bone Spur Donny. Probably has notes and proof of meetings showing quid pro quo with Ruskies and that Bone Spur Donny knew of it.

No wonder the WH and fox went to such lengths to ply their base with repackaged old attacks on Clinton.

Notes aren't proof beyond a reasonable doubt

That's not how it works. Brush up on your flipping witnesses 101.

Yes. Nothing screams beyond a reasonable doubt when you have a witness on the receiving end of a plea deal to avoid criminal charges. The old jailhouse snitch routine is always a solid case!.....

Richard Nixon was a low- life--but a very smart low-life, and a low-life with at least a modicum of integrity. He had just enough integrity to resign after he'd been caught breaking the law and before he got impeached. Trump has no integrity--zero--and he's sinister, and he's already shown that he will do anything to avoid being exposed as corrupt or law-breaker. He fired Comey, he has tried to interfere with and sabotage a government investigation. He is corrupt.
