We're coming up on the 20th season of SEC basketball this century. Here's where all the programs stack up. Vols are going to end up 3rd in both overall and SEC performance (barring an unforeseen trainwreck/Bama winning the natty). One of only 4 schools with winning conference record. Not bad!

This is our standing (third) overall in the entire history of the SEC. We are third in SEC championships (behind Kentucky and LSU) and third in winning percentage (Behind Kentucky and Alabama). IIRC we are third in tournament championships, too (behind Kentucky and Alabama).

It's funny that mizzou came in as a respectable basketball school

FYI: Football from 2000-2018:

Overall: 138-101 . .577 40th best record in nation during that time span and 9th best in SEC .
SEC . 72-83 .465 . Not sure where that ranks but it ain't good.

UT Basketball has done well over this time frame with several very good stretches. Need more success in tournament play but there have been some exciting teams and moments.
