Fireworks??

Anyone in downtown KNoxville/around Campus seeing/hearing the fireworks going on right now? What are they for? Anyone know?

I can see them right out my window. I was watching the LSU game and all of the sudden kept hearing loud booms so I walked outside and looked. Lots of fireworks.

Boomsday fireworks aren't on Thursday night smart one. In fact they aren't until the 2nd.

Hm... That's believable... I don't remember them testing the fireworks like this last year before boomsday, so this seems like the most legit answer.
