Greet him in his office first thing in the morning and hand him a cup of coffee as you escort him to university human resources for an exit interview and to discuss his termination settlement. Then immediately escort him off of university property.
Yeah....treat a guy who dedicated most of his life to UT like a POS. Real classy.

Yes, UT needs a change. No, they don't need to handle it like they did the last one.

Do the majority here believe that if Fulmer beats AL he stays?
All things point to that. Everyone is all giddy about yet another recruiting class phil will waste. He wins against bama and carolina then yeah he is back. The only other game we could possible lose is vandy. We'll beat kentucky to finish the year. Might be tough but we win. These next two weeks will either make or break him. We win them both, i think he stays,we win out. Go to the peach bowl, probably win that, finish 9-4, phil gets a automatic rollover of his contract. I just made myself sick:sick:

No doubt, a win over Bama will help...BUT the Vols have other problems ahead! SC...KY...Dores, etc... A loss of any 2 of those and the win over Bama is forgotten...and Fulmer is gone. IMHO

He can't afford to go 6-6, or especially 5-7. Regardless of who UT beats. I have a feeling the ice is a little thinner than some realize.

Contrary to the rumors and Jimmy Hyams statement that Fulmer has to beat GA or AL to keep his job, I'm still not convinced. If Teflon Phil pulls off the upset of the #2 team in the country, and especially with that team being the Tide, I think he stays, even if he winds up 5-7 but beats Vandy. On this 4th Saturday of October, Phils sphincter will be tighter than Warren Buffett.

...and pepper that with a strong recruiting class and flashes of life and things to come in the offense and...yes he will stay put.

I don't think the Alabama game is necessarily make or break, but a win against Alabama is an indication that the team is probably going to run the table which would definitely save CPF.

running the table would be awesome

I am not a Fulmer fan, but the bright side if he stays is that all these Gruden/Cowher/Carroll threads will die for awhile.
