Would be the one to get the UT gang back together.

HC - Steele
OC - Tee
DC - Chief

On a side note:
Peerless Price said he would like to get in and coach WR.

I also heard the podcast interview of Al Wilson from the Swain Event and Al implied he would love to help the young athletes.

I bet Eric would help if needed.

This would be a great coaching staff.

Love seeing UT as a family organization again, but hard pass on Steele HC. Sure they can find him another position if he wants it.

We need Al Wilson involved somehow

There’s not a single former Vol player who would be an excellent HC hire right now. Cooter is the closest and he’s solidly in the NFL

I don't want Al Wilson anywhere near this team at the moment.

You realize how easily they get injured right now? Add an Al Wilson on top of that.

"No, THIS is how you hit someone!"

"Umm, can I get a trainer and a gurney please?"

See the Bammer hires of Mike Shula and Mike DuBose. I am telling you, it's a cautionary tale.

Lol we aren't hiring a staff full of VFL's, nor should we. Also want no part of cheif and his prevent defense.

Spurrier at Florida seemed to work out well for them. Chryst at Wisconsin seems to be doing good.
I also remember some success at Tennessee with Majors and Fulmer.

Maybe as a counselor? I don’t think Wilson has a degree...he can’t be a coach without one.

Steele would be fine. When he was at Baylor it was barely more than intramural.

I agree. He has coached under the best of the best over his career. Majors, Osborne, Bowden, Saban, Miles, Dabo...

Definitely ok with giving him a shot if that's what we decide.

Fulmer is the best example of that lot. The rest got HC seasoning at other schools.

Why was Steele’s record so bad at Baylor? I assume there was more going on than his record would indicate at first glance.

Excellent hires. Not saying don't do it, just proceed with caution.

While I don't really want Steele here, I honestly doubt a late 90's/early 00's Nick Saban would've won more than 3-4 games a year coaching the Bears during that era.
