its just a short piece, but its a good one. doesnt think CLK is an idiot, thinks we will WIN if everything falls into place, and who gets tired of hearing how good Eric Berry is???? 10 wins!!! :rock:

Nice find.... Everyone knows Berry is the best DB in the country whether they want to admit it or not. I just came from Walmart and out of 5 college magazines, Berry was on the front of 4 of them. The 5th had the 3 Heisman candidates returning from last year on the cover.

That's because it's a regional magazine, Come down here and all you see is Tebow all over the covers of the same mags....Makes you want to vomit.:sick:

Covers are different at different places. In Florida, Tebow is the cover boy on some of those same magazines.

Good point, but there were some with other players from other SEC schools on the front, and he still made it on there. One was Berry, A.J. Green - UGA, and I can't remember the other player. I think that one was Athlon. At least he is considered the best DB in the South I would assume.

the other was charles scott(lsu) and i live in georgia and berry is everywhere.

FYI -- that was part of my submission to Athlon. I have done the UT preview since 1998 and that snippet was part of it.

Yet this afternoon on the radio you continue to question the football program spending money. The day that the football program stops donating money to the university is the day you and the other Whine and Biscuit crowd on the animal can call it "throwing money at the wall."

I tend not to stick my nose into others discussions unless invited .... but I read a lot of the comments to get others' opinions and takes on things.

As for my comments on UT's financial situation, it's my job to question things, and on TV, radio and in blogs/columns, provide opinions.

Other times, it's to report in an objective manner.

I know the lines get blurred, but that's where the media is at these days. You can't just do one thing and expect to survive.

As for the bi-polar comment, I've never said I don't think Lane Kiffin can't win on the field -- I think he can, and I think he will.

That is just marketing for Tenn. Here in Louisiana, you can't find a sports magazine without LSU on the cover.

You know, I saw this post earlier and could not figure out what it was that bothbered me about it. Now I know. It's this line : "doesnt think CLK is an idiot,"


I haven't seen anyone saying he's stupid. Brash? Arrogant? Impulsive? All to a fault? Yup. But not stupid.

LSUFreek did a gif with CLK wearing a dunce cap but that is the only reference I can think of made about his intellect. Most just think that he is in over his head and the arrogance was to mask that fact. Personally, I too believed he was in over his head at first but this past spring brought about a steep learning curve. He will be fine. Nevertheless, he still looks nervous to me when he is in front of a camera. I guess that will improve over time as well.

Try not be unduly reasonable. It will upset those fans more focused on Fulmer hatred than reasoned talent assessments.
