I looked at this earlier. We had 72 plays. Last year we averaged 76 plays/game over the course of our 13 games and the median was also 76 plays.

I don't often buy the explanations from the hill of why we sometimes struggle. It's like saying those other guys wouldn't let us do what we wanted to do. Hello?

Who would have ever thought before the game began that:
-We would get beat so badly in rushing yardage?
-Our highly disciplined team (based on last year's results) would have had more penalties?
-That our up-tempo offense would only have 6 more plays than their slow-down offense (i.e., eak out every second on the game clock)?
-That we'd lose the turnover war (still think we'll get 50 this year?)?
-That we'd get shut out in sacks with all of our DE's and they'd get 2?
-Our all world ST play took a back seat to theirs?
-Our OL .... well, I'll just leave it be.

Fellers, we're darn lucky to have won this game. I hope they get serious this week because Va. Tech is smelling blood in the water.

How did their ST's do better? Daniel averaged 49 per punt, Berry had 1 return for 41 yards, medley went 2-2 on FG's. I think they made it passed the 20 on 1 return, they had 1 good punt return, and their kicking game was awful. Their punter was worse than Daniel.

Wow, cam dropped a punt, our ST's sucks now!!!
