Yeah, that Tennessee defense was a real joke this year.

The discussion of Chavis has, I think, derailed the most frightening point in the article. Fielding a strong defense and playing well means limiting Tebow, Meyer, and Co. to about 4 touchdowns, which isn't really holding them in check at all. Good defensive players running good game plans still give up points in bunches to Florida, wheter they come from Tebow or the track stars or special teams, and it looks like everybody else in the SEC is going to get to see that combination for at least another year.

Did you catch former Vol Tim Irwin, 14 year NFL career, comments on the Sports Mammal Friday about the Mustang Package, holes in the middle of the zones, and our inability to stop third and longs? Get a clue. Chavis was given a pass, consistently by Griff because he was an inside source. The guy can coach, but doesn't walk on water...

Tim Irwin? Wasn't he the Aussie, that died from a stingray attack? Ohhhh...that's completely the wrong guy. You mean Tim Irwin, the OFFENSIVE lineman that played at UT in the late '70's. The guy was a lineman on offense which obviously makes him a defensive juggernaut. So I should also take advice about offense from Monte Kiffin? But I guess you put me in place with that wealth of information you gave to me in your post. Well I asked my wife what she thought about Chavis and his Mustang package because she has as much experience on that side of the ball as Mr. Irwin, and she said that he'll be fine and always was....and she also told me that you're a dolt and I should never give you a second thought.:victory:

Urban will go to ND. Next season is his last at UF. They will give him 8 mil a year.

And when they only win 6-8 games a year he will be fired from ND too....unless ND starts changing there academic standards they will not win a championship anytime soon

Yeah, why would you ask a guy who has to understand and defend offenses for a living? I'm sure that MK couldn't tell you anything about how an offense works just like an OL could never tell you how to understand defensive schemes. Unbelievably bad post....
