I picked Coleman but I was surprised how much better Crompton looked (relative term I admit) against Kentucky.

From what little I saw, Coleman may be the best of the 3.

Wouldn't be surprised to see a freshman come in and earn the spot though.

I like BJ a lot. He is probably the best of the 3. But I think Kiffin will work wonders for Crompton in the off season.

I voted for Coleman just because from what little I saw of him, he looked more poised and in control of the game than JC. But i did like the fiery personality of Stephens, that drive could be a great positive under the new staff.

Based off of what?

Quarterback draws?

It's gotta be Stephens. If the kid had a running attack to lean on I think he could have been ok.

i didn't really see enough of coleman to have a solid opinion of him either. he was definitely more mobile than i expected

I picked BJ. My second choice of the three would be Stephens. I wonder if Kiffen could "dumb down" the offense so Crompton could be more effective. That "thinkin" just messes him up.

He'll know within 30 seconds of meeting Crompton whether or not he needs to "dumb it down". If so, he's going to go out and get a QB that won't have that problem.

It seems like the days of dumbing things down is out the window. Personally if I were Kiffin I wouldn't have any tolerance for it.

I agree 100%, unless a true freshman can come in and win the job, it should belong to stephens.

I'm not saying he's a superbstar, but he has shown more presence and leadership on the field that the other options, and he has a heck of a deep ball, provided he actually has time for routes to develop before running for his life.

If thats what has to happen for us to be effective then so be it.Something I think coach cut did with ainge to make him more effective.
IMO a good oc will adjust his play calling to his qb's strengths to make the qb effective, ex. short dump passes to avoid rush/sacks.
Just like ucla did against us this year.

I voted for Stephens. While I have openly said that I would like to see Crompton turn it around, and actually believe that he has the ability to do it, he has to prove it. If he plays the best out of all the quarterbacks during spring practice and Kiffin names him as the starter heading into fall, then we're going to have to live with it and support the decision until JC proves otherwise.

Crompton, in his defense, did turn in the best overall performance by a qb in a game this year (for what it's worth), . The problem was that it was after seven or eight of the absolute worst performances any of us have ever seen by a UT quarterback (LSU in 2005 not counting).

I don't have much faith in any of them. Out of overall performances over the year, then it should be Stephens, no question.

Bingo. One of the biggest faults of Clawsen was that he didn't adjust to his quarterbacks abilities.

I voted for Coleman, but only because the other two are absolute scrubs and I haven't seen enough of Coleman to pass judgment yet.

Out of the choices: Coleman
Who would I start?: Tajh Boyd(or Matt Barkley, depending on the 0.001% chance we have of getting him)
