Just ask the folks in Washington DC, tighter restrictions on the ownership of firearms does not decrease crime.
If these so-called community activists were truly interested in lowering the violent crime rate among youths, they'd push to have juvenile offenders tried as adults and not sealing the records of other violent juveniles.
