Did it appear to y'all that the field conditions affected us more than Purdue? It sure did to me.
It was ridiculous = even during warm ups guys were falling and sliding all over the place. I knew once the game started we were going to have problems. Shame on us for not getting longer cleats on our guys - if that's still a thing that you can do.
Eric Ainge said that's a thing of the past due to current shoe technology. It was ridiculous = even during warm ups guys were falling and sliding all over the place. I knew once the game started we were going to have problems. Shame on us for not getting longer cleats on our guys - if that's still a thing that you can do.
So where was Fraz ?Roger Frazier, Tennessee long time equipment manager, missed his first game since 1981 that night. Perhaps that had something to do with it, or maybe it didn't. But since he was there for that citrus bowl a few years ago when the Vols beat Ohio State after going with longer cleats during the second half? I would think he would have fixed that had he been at the MCB.
yep. They could add so much more there - HS games, band competitions, drum corp competitions. The rumor I always heard was that Jeff Fisher didnt want it. Well, he's gone so lets make the moveThe Titans really need to switch to Field Turf and get rid of the natural grass like every other NFL team not in FL
I think because Tennessee is a more east west running and Purdue is north and south. That and a slippery field is advantage to the players that know where they are going and a disadvantage to Hooker who makes cuts on the fly.I did see a couple of times Purdue slipped, but it mainly looked like a TN problem. Not sure why....
