It’s so obvious that I’m surprised more people haven’t mentioned it. Also obvious is the fact that she aligns herself with the Dark Side instead of The Light. She and her Dark Lord made sure she was drafted by The Fever because a fever is hot and the uniforms are devil red and both serve to keep her grounded in her hellish mission, which is to draw people away from Christianity as they worship her for her dazzling passes and logo threes. Surely everyone has noticed the State Farm logo is red and how Clark is often standing on red Satanic circles in those commercials.

Impressive win for Team USA. Everybody played well and the team looked really connected on both ends of the floor. This game was their best one so far.
Spain should be a more challenging opponent than Hungary but, if Team USA plays at this level, it will be comfy win. All systems are go for the anticipated USA v. France Final.

I’ve noticed there is a lot of chatter elsewhere from folks who believe France will be the eventual champion. What do people in here think?

Without A’Ja Wilson this has some vulnerabilities. I think they still win but it will be close

Interesting stats, RetroVol. I am not on either side of the Clark debate (GOAT vs goat), but it also interesting that if I was a betting person, I would have bet my house that following a game in which Clark has 1 point, 0 field goals for 2nd game of the 5, and 1:2 assists to turnovers, the main news coming out after the game was some stat showing how great she is. I think the stat does show that she can be a great facilitator, but also that her fans consistently overlook unfavorable stats to maintain how she is the GOAT already. I am not suggesting that this was you intention Retrovol (I enjoy your posts) but more how the timing of these things is so predictable. Emerging stars always have some less than stellar games, including Caitlin.

Pretty weird that TeamUSA is in the FIBA finals and a segment of the fan base is most focused on CC not starting for the Final after such a scintillating 1 point, 0-3, 1 assist, 2 TO game.
