and others given their opinion

being a talented player
other players trying to be physical with him.

It was but not because the Bulls needed an enforcer.

The Bulls/Jordan had already won a 3-peat (with Horace Grant as PF). The Bulls beat the Pistons in the conference finals in route to their first championship and the Piston's bad boys era ended there via free agency losses and injuries. They faded fast in the ensuing seasons.
Then Jordan went on his baseball Odyssey and the Bulls had two seasons in the wasteland.

Rodman joined the bulls after Jordan's 2nd coming to the NBA and they went on their 2nd 3-peat run.

With any luck an extinction-level giant meteor strike will occur before the tournament is over so that none of us will have to suffer the embarrassment, disrespect and eventual collapse our country will surely suffer if this team is allowed to re-enter the U.S. Better total annihilation of our species than to have to live in a world in which something so egregious is tolerated.

If indeed Team USA's uniforms are "flagless", that egregious omission of the nation's symbol would be definitive proof that Caitlin Clark hates America.
