Excuse my lack of knowing, we haven't exactly had a normal conversation. What part of Russia and how long have you been in the states?
Petrozavodsk. It's pretty north (next to a lake) and is actually on land once controlled by Finland. One of my parents is actually Finnish so I guess technically I'm half Russian.
Been in the states since I was 3. Spoke Russian for a while but stopped using it when I started school and so now I sound 100% American lulz.
I would have kept speaking Russian, very angry sounding language. Lol Real talk though, glad that you got adopted by a good family so many kids end up in horrible situations or become a statistic. I would imagine Russia would be a thousand times worse than here.
lies!
If only the russians would have stopped adoptions a long time ago.
Holy **** it's crazy how threads turn out around here. Since you're a Rooski I'll overlook your antisemitism. It's kind of in your blood, like vodka.
True story but the best example of an Eagle Scout I've ever known or worked with was an adopted Polish kid. Socially he's a little unique but it's because essentially he spent his first 2 years in a crib in an orphanage and no one ever talked to or held him. Tragic but he turned out awesome.
