:ermm: My feelings are BLAH! The SEC did not need to add two more teams to the conference...especially teams like that! I'm NOT very happy about it. I think it weakens our conference as a whole. Sighhhh....

I'll bite, before the move.

I disagree. While I'd rather have Clemson for geographic and powerhouse reasons... I don't mind it. Both schools have good players and will bring more attention to the SEC. We could have picked worse schools to include... That's for sure.

If we like it or don't like it....It is here and we may as well get use to it.....

As for if I like it, I certainly like the addition of Mizzlou above adding WVU... and I think aTm is a good fit and welcome to the SEC

I like it. Academically, it helps the conference tremendously. They both bring a basketball pedigree which helps. Mizzou has had recent success in football as well.

Don't mind it. Neither team is too good, but the ***gies make me sick to my stomach.

Don't care. Would of liked some other teams better, but atleast we didn't add wvu Louisville or some stupid team that doesn't even geographically touch the southeast

The quest for viewership and market in lieu of what makes sense from a football and fanbase perspective has only diluted our conference. FSU and Clemson were the logical choice and "greed" has taken the SEC down a notch in terms of competition.

There was nothing logical there, neither of those schools wanted in

(Clemson went out of its way in the last month or two to release a statement saying that they weren't talking with us and wouldn't even want to be part of such talks)

I think there will be 2 more added for 2013 season. I think the SEC will have 16 teams when the 2013 season starts.

I am very happy about adding aTm!
I am married to an Aggie. Look forward to seeing the Vols play at Kyle Field. Already have buddies here that want to roadtrip to Neyland. Aggies are very much an SEC type fan base. Do not know about Mizzou.

What school (that could compete) wouldnt want to be included in the best conference in the country? Neither was pursued and both did a good job at "saving face".

Like the girl that turned the guy down for a date and the guy said I didnt want to go out with you anyway.:hi:

yeah, i think so. i only wonder who they will be. south carolina won't vote for clemson, and florida will veto fla. st.

If we go to 16, it's going to be several years down the line; there won't be a rush to add another 2 more next season unless everyone starts making 16 team conferences over the next summer

What is it gonna take to go to the NC. Undefeated season with strength of schedule? Win the SEC and there is no need for a NC game.
