Hey guys, it was a long trip back home from the game, I mean, you talk about feeling dejected, me and my pops didn't say maybe twenty words to each other, we just turned the radio up, slipped back in the seats and drove on to the house. I just want to admit though, that I am guilty as freakin charged, I bought too much into the hype that WKU gave us, they made Crompton look like a phenom that turned it around tremendously from last year. Now, I am seeing mixed reactions on the board about how we need to get behind Crompton no matter what or bench Crompton for the rest of the year. Well, I say If Kiffin would quit having a love affair with Crompton like Fulmer did early in the year last year and give Nick Stephens a chance, then ya never know what could happen. Even If Stephens loses, at least he has prompt experience for possibly next year, a problem that UGA is having with Joe Cox even though they won tonight. I just don't and can't put my trust in Crompton, he makes too many stupid mistakes and today in the stadium, you should have seen all the wide open receivers on some plays and Crompton still insists that he is a God and tries to throw into double and triple coverage. UCLA deserved that win, they were the better team, we played worst than what talent we got and UCLA exposed Kiffin's play calling and beat us. Now, I have no problem with the defense, they are unbelievable but when a defense is consistenly on the field, I don't care how good they are, they are going to give up points eventually, you have to have solid offensive support, bottom line. Now concern for next week, very very much. I almost hope Florida hangs about 60, the reason being is if Tennessee goes down there and plays a tough ball game and wins or loses by a field goal, I will not be satisfied because if they were to win, then they should be 3-0 at that point but nope, ain't gonna happen. At this point, yes I know it was the first loss but I would settle for a 6 or 7 win season, anything below that is a serious fail and if it is below 6 or 7 wins, I don't wanna see Kiffin roaming the sidelines next season, I'd like to see Monte but Kiffin needs to get his head out of Crompton's ass and get this team focused as focused can be, they were not focused today. I don't know if Kiffin couldn't keep the focus with the team this week in practice, or the team went out very over confident and was just looking too far ahead to Florida, maybe that was the problem? I don't know, I'm just still completely baffled by this loss, it should have been a win, even maybe an easy win, who the hell knows, I just hope this isn't one of those seasons where by the 5th ball game, I am just focused on my Dallas Cowboys more than I am focused on the Big Orange, there are just some serious problems right now, and they have to be fixed this week and promptly or Florida stays on the offensive side and wears the defense out all day long, ya know one of those games where at half time we are starting to watch other games of the day, and just starting to put away our Tennessee clothes at that time too. I just hope to God it isn't a mistake that I have Florida tickets and my trip to Gainesville is regretful.
