Feel good prediction from Rivals

We should finish in the Top 20 with 8-4 or 9-3 record. We are not nearly as weak as we appeared last season, We just need some coach-im-ups.

creer is awesome. he's been the best athlete in the backfield since coker's dismissal, we just need to give him the ball more.

we need a credible passing game to open up the defenses more for him, then he will be extremely dangerous.

Based on what? I realize the offensive was putrid last year, therefore a decent performance by anyone on that side of the ball pretty much makes one the best player, but I don't remember him doing that much. Did I miss something?

I like Creer a lot -- but seeing how Arian has been trashed after high expectations for him (that I disagree with) I'll be curious to see what everyone says about his fumbling problems. On a per carry average, Creer has more fumbles than Arian. If he doesn't fix that -- he probably won't see the field much in Kiffin's system.

If Creer had the holes Foster had at times we would have scored a lot more. Foster 15yds= Creer 40yds.

I agree, Foster was neither exceptionally quick nor fast. Good blocker and pass catcher, but not a serious threat to turn an off tackle play to the house.

I know that I'll get laughed off of here for saying this, but I was always more nervous about a fumble when Creer had the ball than when Arian did. I love the way Creer runs, but I hate the way he carries the football. And - the kid has dropped the ball a quite a few times...he has somehow been fairly lucky so far that it was recovered by orange, went out of bounds, or wasn't at that critical of a time....but if he keeps showing a lack of respect for protecting the ball and starts getting critical carries....look out.

Good point.

I hope he gets that straightened out, cause I see him running more this year.

Can't put it on the ground tho.

Foster sucked big time. I am glad. I don't have to watch him run out of bounds anymore.

Unless, Oku learns blocking assignments very quickly. Creer will be the starter. If, he protects the ball. He hits the hole straight ahead and hard. I have always liked Creer too!

I'm thinking that Gran can coach Creer up. Teach him how to hold onto the ball. We need Creer to be the guy, he has all the tools, but he can't lay it on the turf.

Regardless, Hardesty and Creer were both head and shoulder above Foster. But, Foolmer wanted to take care of the senior who liked to run out of bounds! Both of these backs are capable of big time plays!

WOW, RIVALS IS SHOWING US LOTS OF LOVE. Kiffin has been on the front page a few times. Now, we have Creer on there. Let's hope the recruits are keeping up with Rivals.

Can you give us the exact numbers on that? I suppose you can since you made the comment. Would love to see it.

I can't wait to see him play next year! I think he will be special, especially with us getting Gran as a running backs coach, this will just improve his play!

Hardesty and Creer, both, will look like better backs next year because our O-line should be run blockers again with new line and s&c coaching. UT and run blocking have not went together in 7 years.

What about Poole. He seems to be lost in the mix. Kiffin's philosophy states the best ball player during spring and summer drills will play in the fall. Poole never really had a chance to get in a groove but he had blemishes of talent when he did get a chance.

I agree with the consensus about Creer though. I really like how he darts through the line of scrimmage and falls forward for that extra yard.

He's quick to the hole..where it seemed like Foster moved east west, waiting for something to open up..
