To rile some feathers, I am partly going with Jabar Gaffneys miraculous catch in the endzone with very little time left in 2000 to seal the deal. :p

My serious answer is 1999 when Alex Brown had a monster game (5 sacks?) where UF won a close, and hard fought game from both sides.

What is your Favorite moment in UT/UF lore? It doesn't have to be a game you attended.

'98 - Missed FG in overtime....I couldnt hear or speak for a week after that game.

1 goal post ended up on the Strip and the other in the TN River I think?

'90 - Dale Carter kickoff return for a touchdown and a 2nd half blowout!

My last season as a student in 1990 when Dale Carter returned the second half kick-off for a touchdown and the route was on is one of my favorites. 45-3 Vols.

Both Berry and Tebow are once in a lifetime players. It was hard not to like Berry since he was extremely classy and intelligent. I wish him well in the Pros.

I remember 2004 so well. I was a freshman at UT on the 4th row. The interesting thing about the field goal, is we had no time to catch our breath. It all happened so quickly. There was no time out or break in play. All of the sudden, the kid that just missed an extra point, was running out on the field, and we did not have time to register all that was going on around us. Then all of the sudden, there was a great hush, and the ball was in the air. Most of us didn't see the ball go through, we just saw the fans sitting behind the field goal posts stand up. At that moment, I experienced the greatest football euphoria I had ever known. I get chills just thinking about it. We chanted "It sucks to be a Florida Gator!" all the way home.

The drencher in Knoxville, '02 where Clausen couldn't handle the snap on three straight tries. Three turnovers later it was 24-0.

By far though, my favorite has to be my first game in the swamp: 1995 - another drencher that saw UT up a lot early followed by Wuerffel's comeback slaughter, finished up at 62-37.

98 OT. I was first person on one of the goal post. Most electric moment I've seen live in my life. Going back for game this weekend. First time since I left in 2001.

Wilhoits kick, 2004. That was absolutely crazy, people (including myself) were running around screaming, high fiving, and chest bumping total strangers...good times lol

The last time we beat them. 04 field goal. Not trying to get off subject, but that was a night game. The last time we played Florida at Neyland in a night game we barely lost, and that was the year they won it all with Leak. I just dont understand why we dont play them under the lights every other year. You need to use all your advantages, and the night atmosphere is an advantage. Honestly last week if we had a 3:30 start I dont know if the game would have been tied at halftime. I know it comes down to what the players do on the field, but you can just see they feed off the energy in the stadium.

I remember that day was just uber hot. Beyond Africa hot. I was sitting in the endzone and remember somebody saying "look at this cloud". It was the blackest cloud I've ever seen. Then it started raining. At one point I turned to my then girlfriend and said "it cant rain any harder than it is right now". It did. It rained so hard it hurt.

And Mose ran for a TD.

Actually, it wasn't a catch. I know the official that was the back judge in that game, and after questioning him on it, he said that the only reason that it wasn't overturned was that the official that made the call was 'in the most advantageous and correct position' to make the call. Gaffney had 2 UT defenders shielding him from visibly seeing Gaffeney's control (or lack thereof) on the catch. No catch, no TD. But unfortunately, that's not how it ended up. :)

My favorite moment was Collins Cooper, wide left in 1998. I don't think I need to explain. :) The other thing that I LOVED from that game was Deon Grant's one handed pick that kept FL from scoring. That was the momentum shifter.

The year (90's?) we beat the Gators at Neyland in the pouring down rain.

Nobody left that game, and it was the best wet t-shirt contest I'd ever seen.:dance2:

2001 for me. Stephens was possessed and I loved it. I was on the field and in the locker room after the game.

A very special moment in my UT life.
