My favorite road trip to take is to Tuscaloosa. The following are my favorite to least favorite road trips that I have taken . 1) Tuscaloosa 2) Auburn(neat town) 3) Ole miss- the fans are very polite and the pre-game atmospere is really different. 4) The Swamp-always huge game 5) Vandy- gotta love the Orangenation taking over Nashville, however feels like a Big-10 atmosphere:bad: 6) USC- to much of an ACC atmoshpere 7) Georgia- fans are foul! Note I have never been to LSU,MSU,or Arky. What are your favorite trips?

Tuscaloosa. Because we always win....well except once. I plan on winning in 2007 in Tuscaloosa. Fulmer will be taking his house back.

So far I've been to Tuscaloosa, Athens, Lexington, Auburn, Nashville, and Columbia. Here's how I rank them:

1. Tuscaloosa - Mainly because of Bama's tradition and their rivalry with Tennessee. I've been there twice, and the fans have been pretty nice. The campus is beautiful and the drive down isn't too bad. Just a fun experience overall.

2a. Athens - By far the best in terms of pre-game fun. Downtown Athens is a pretty cool place (wish we had something similar in Knoxville), with lots of neat shops and restaurants right next to campus. Also gets points due to proximity to Atlanta, where you can stay the night before and get in some shopping/eating in the big city. For the most part, though, their fans are jackasses.

2b. Auburn - Without a doubt the best "in-game" experience. Their fans are awesome! I only wish UT fans showed as much passion. Auburn (the city) isn't much to talk about. Campus is pretty nice, but not as nice as Bama. You also get the ATL benefit (see above).

3. Columbia - Going to a S.C. game is more like going to a pro game, in my opinion. Not bad, but not quite as fun as tradition-laden college game experiences. There's really not much around the stadium (as it's in some sort of what looks like an industrial park next to campus). They do have a cool "Cock-a-boose" (or whatever they call it) that is a train their fans tailgate in. Pretty neat. On the bright side, their fans are really nice and complimentary. And they leave VERY early if the Cocks are down ... too early.

4. Nashville - Stadium sucks, but it's more like a home game ... and at least you have all that Nashville has to offer.

5. Lexington - Not really all that fun at all. We always play them at the end of the year, so it's usually cold. There's really not much to do. The fans are ok, but it's just sort of a blah trip.

It's tough to beat "The Grove" "Hotty Toddy" and "Dixie"

I'll be hitting up Starkville this year

Too bad we always play around Thanksgiving.

Commonwealth is a great trip for a night game, especially if you make Keeneland part of your day during the October races.

1 - Tiger Stadium in Baton Rouge at night is simply awesome.

2 - Bama just cause it's Bama. Liked it better when we played at Legion Field in Birmingham though.

3 - Notre Dame Stadium in South Bend, watching the BIG ORANGE beat the Irish with Touchdown Jesus and the Golden Dome in the background is priceless.

All the rest are about the same to me.

There aren't too many places that are more interesting to leave than Sanford Stadium in Georgia after a Bulldog loss. The BA levels and trash talk are epic.

I recommend taking an extra pair of shoes in case you step in manure inside the stadium.

I take offense to that. I graduated from the MSU PGM program and I loved the campus. Not much to do, but the campus is beautiful and maintained very well. This due to the turfgrass and agricultural programs.

Starkville is definately a college town. No malls, one main street and a ton of farmland. I was there when Peyton and the boys went there and lost.

both my brothers went to MSU, so i've been on several occaisons. I do recommend going down for super bulldog weekend....they were delta chis and the parties were awesome. lots of fun, crawfish boils, beer, bands and babes (i use the term loosely). but i have had a good time on more than one occaison in Starkville.

it's not much to look at, it is a small town....but it's not completely awful, but nor is it on my top ten destination lists either.

i was there visiting my brother in 94 when we lost too. i did hate it that day.

other than that, my two biggest complaints about Starkville:
1. they don't sell cold beer at stores. stupid.
2. bars quit selling booze at midnight. shameful.
