Favorite/Most memorable Vols game.

The most exciting game I went to was the 15 OT game win vs. Arkansas. It was my last season as a student and maybe the best seats I had the entire time I was there. The game was back and forth and maybe the most up and down game I've ever seen...but in the end we pulled it out.

and then there's this:

I was neck deep in Sorority girls who wouldn't stfu until I finally turned around and said (paraphrasing) "...I wish you girls would STFU about this friggin party you've been talking about for 4 qtrs!! Just [deleted]'ing go already! You obviously only came here to be seen...well...GO BE SEEN THERE!! Cause we're going into overtime and the last [deleted]'ing thing I want to hear about is HOW THE f*** YOU'RE GONNA WEAR YOUR HAIR!!!"

It was a low moment for me...albeit a proud one too. They left after ripping into me...but hey, me and my boys had twice as much room to jump and yell once they left...

That night gave birth to the greatest nickname I've ever heard for sorority girls...."Sorostitutes."

Awesome.

98 UT/Ark had the most memorable moments, but they all came at the end.

The NC game against FSU was the most memorable for me. Before the game, no one gave us a chance, even though we were #1 and they were #2. I think it was SI (or ESPN the mag...did that exist back then?) that had a section on the game, and one of the writers had said "when FSU beats UT, NC State will want to claim a slice of the title for themselves."--NC State beating FSU that year, of course. AFTER we won, ESPN had the audacity to say something along the lines of "no, you're not hallucinating--Tennessee has won."

We weren't supposed to be able to move on their D, but we did. Warrick was supposed to give us absolute hell. He didn't. Goodrich swooped in and snatched the ball from him for a pick-6. Peerless caught an absolute bomb from Tee and left his defender in the dust. Janikowski was supposedly the best thing to happen to kickers since the advent of the foot, but he nailed the crossbar on his (first?) attempt.

I enjoyed the 98 Florida game too, complete with Florida's dual kicker fiasco that ultimately cost them in the end. The 01 Florida game was a good one too. They just don't compare to the atmosphere surrounding our first NC game in a long, long time, though.

1971 UT vs Penn. State. The Vols came in 12th and Joe Pa was 5th. Joe Pa had one of the top rated running back tandems in the country, Franco Harris and Lidell (SP?) Mitchell. The Vols held them to minus yardage. It was Bobby Majors day. UT won 31-11. This is the last UT game that gave me the same feeling I got Saturday watching the UT/WKY game.

GO VOLS !!!

Well, I would count that as one ringing endorsement for the Kiffin era...

Opening the T for 4 years. I don't know how it feels to be a player running through the T, but my experience has to be close to it.

I'd have to put "ugly" down for:
Alabama 6 Tennessee 3 - 2005

...That was painful. It was my first road game ever, and I just sat there thinking...Really? That's it?
