Has anyone read the deal we got with them and know if Danny worked that in? With Penn State signing with them I feel a disaster coming if he didn’t. Because I imagine they will get something comparable if not outright better. Of course they’re not the major concern to me. Bama LSU or Texas getting 30M per year from them when their Nike deals run out does worry me though

I’m sure he tried to get that in, but in my experience it’s hard to enforce….however, since I assume the nature of these deals mean that they are made public sooner or later, it would be easier? It would be outstanding if he did get it and would make perfect sense if TN really is to be their cornerstone school.

I can’t imagine we didn’t get that in? If we are supposed to be their flagship school, that’s the only thing in writing that would support that.

Penn State doesn’t have the range of success in all sports that we do. Baseball, Softball, men’s and women’s basketball. It’s not close. UT is a year round school.

Most Favored Nations language would be simple to enforce on a contract of this magnitude, and simply means that UT would have the best deal in the nation. I‘m surprised the contract hasn’t been made public due to TN sunshine laws. I’d love to know if MFN language was included.
