The Sporting News has released their 2011 baseball preview book, and they have Farragut Listed as the #1 high school baseball team in the country. They even have a picture of Nick Delmonico. However, none of the Farragut players make the high school All-American team.

Congratulations to the Admirals -- Delmonico is a beast and will be drafted very high imo. No doubt they will be good, but I don't think that they are deep enough particularly on the mound to maintain that ranking for long.

Both Philip and Nicky have consistently been in the top 24 in their age group in the country for the last 5 or 6 years,
have at times been the only two kids from Tennessee playing on the national team and are without question in my mind All American level talent. I don't know who else Farragut has but those two are the real deal.
